RWE npower awards framework agreement extension to Exeeco APS

Exeeco APS (Actuation, Projects and Services) has been awarded an extension to its three-year Framework Agreement with RWE npower for the supply of Rotork valve actuation products and the service and repair of all makes of valve actuators at the company’s UK coal, oil and gas fired power stations and cogeneration plants. The contract encompasses onsite and offsite actuator maintenance, service, repair, upgrade and replacement.

United Utilities keeps Exeeco in charge of reliable valve actuation

Actuation upgrade improves power station combustion efficiency

Rotork electric modulating actuators have been installed in an upgrade at the RWE npower Fawley Power Station in southern England. Built in the late 1960s, the oil-fired station is capable of supplying the National Grid with 1000 megawatts of power to balance supply and demand at times of peak usage. It is therefore essential that the station can respond to the National Grid demands with speed and flexibility.
